Selah and fall backwards

    What a pleasant day, Selah and I had at the park. As  I watched Selah, I recalled my childhood and all the fond memories I had as a child. So I decided to get involved with Selah in playing with the leaves. What a wonderful memory I have now to keep with me always.  Do you remember really playing with the leaves when you were a child? I do. My favorite part was when I would walk on top of the crunchy leaves and waited for that sound that we all loved to hear. Crunch! Crunch! And than when you throw the leaves the fall leaves up in the air. Ahhhh! What fun we use to have; and the fun we can still have with our kids. All the things we can teach our children, and most importantly what they can teach us! Selah taught me to have fun.

Isaiah 40

The verses in Isaiah are really speaking to my heart lately. I hope the Lord will draw you closer to Him through His word. This is just what the Lord showed me in these verses, you may see something different.

vs.1 '' Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.''
vs.2 '' Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath recieved of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.''
vs.3 '' The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.''
vs.4 '' Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight , and the rough places plain.


I really believe as a christian, God is truly the only one who can comfort our hearts with a peace that can't ever be explained, not properly enough. Even sometimes even in the Bible or Hymns. I think everyone does a great job trying, but no one can truly compehend He has done and can do for us. Wow, amazing to think all Jerusalem has been through, and than to say,'' her iniquity is pardoned.'' That makes me think of my sins and how by the grace of God, '' He has forgiven me for all my sins''. How the Lord has pardoned me for, '' all my sins and for all my mistakes'', it really wipes our slates clean. Doesn't it ?

I also feel burdened that we need to , ''Prepare our way for the Lord, everyday.''How sometimes we get lost or desperate about our sin and we either let it stay there taking over our lives or our very being, just because we chose to ignore it! But what would happen if the Lord ignored us at the cross that day. Where would we be? We'd be lost in sin and condemned to live our eternity in hell. So we need to, '' Make straight a desert in the highway for our God. Awesome to say, ''Our God''. So basically I am to say is get ready for your God. God made a perfect plan for us called, Salvation and if we are already saved than He has an even sweeter plan for us now and to make our crooked ways straight and rough places plain. A straight place to walk to. By the grace of God, may we rise up the occasion and let the Lord use you and I.

Drinking @ the Fountain

Many times I believe I have failed to drink @ the fountain that was made for me as a believer to drink,where we as believers are told there are ' Springs of Living Water '. '' Springs of Living Water'', can you believe it! I am a believer and @ times I still can't wrap my mind around it !

But I do know by'' faith all things are possible''. When we truly ask for it , the Lord truly does answer . '' Seek and ye shall find , knock and it shall be opened unto you''. After all , these promises are in the 'bible'. When I think of how the enemy tries to steal our joy , our light , our walk , and let's be honest truely , '' Our own real happiness is in Christ Jesus''.

I am a very quiet person , but I like to use my voice for the Lord in anyway I can. So when we drink @ the fountain , the bible says and Jesus says , '' We can as believers drink @ the Springs of Living Water ''. And from my own experience and through seeing other believers as a testimony , I can say ,'' You can be truly satisfied w/ this 'Water'.

Less than the least of all saints !

I know I won't be able to write about Ephesians in great depth but do understand Paul , when he says in Chapter 3 : Vs.8 Unto me , who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ ; Wow i really feel like I understand Paul and where he was coming from . I realize I am a saint and I feel inspired to be a saint in anyway I can. I'm sure w/out a doubt Paul really was special , but he referred to himself said in Ephesians as ,'' less than the least of all saints .'' Paul believed he was the least , which sort made respect him more. I feel convicted to say I really am less than the least , I really am! (unlike Paul ) . But today is a new day to really become less than the least . =)

How ?

When your alone in a room and the only place you can find is on your knees.
It's hard to explain and thoughts , hopes , and dreams come to mind are about Him!


If you neglected or rejected all rescue efforts are to stand up and draw to Him, draw to Him.
Grace is a special gift given from above , thankyou Jesus , thankyou Lord for His mercy and
this grace that we love .


When your proven to be a peculiar person and no one can understand all that you've been given. You wonder y the ones who never knew you the way i do could stay away and hide from
the salvation I hold so dear . Oh how can they linger and ponder about you anymore ? Oh , how

Reminiscing of Old Mill Basin and the Past! New pics inside of Selah and Anais @ the park and shopping.

I had a dentist appointment yesterday, I had to get fill in's. Oh boy , I was so hungry and I couldn't eat for 2 hours ! Anais said , '' We should take Selah to the park , not just any park , Old Mill Basin Park. It's where I use to live w/ the girls , before Selah was born and before I was married. So , here's my ode to Old Mill Basin !

As I walk down the streets of Old Mill Basin I hear the cheers coming from the highschool
and I remember walking Tati ,Nique,and Anais to 236 Public School , they were so young and innocent and sweet memories of them talking to me . Oh , how sweet . And then I wonder how
can this be , all grown up , now the small hand I'm holding in mine is Selah's face looking up @

me. Walking them to the park , go down the slide , I remember , I said , '' Take turn girls don't
fight.'' And oh how sometimes girls you would fight ! Oh and here comes the music at the park
My big sis and I planning the future for these precious girls , I hear it now , the best ice cream
in Old Mill Basin ,the girls would hope and pray they would get Mr. softee. No we can't
delay , get the ice cream for them. Wow , I love this park , the sun shining in my face , your hope
and dreams are all brand new , your young and hope for all the best for them. I remember
walking and talking w/ the girls and wondering does God want me to marry one day, and now

it's all a faded memory that happened on that day. Now the present is so fresh and new , now
knowing what God planned for me and surrender to all things new . What a wonderful day it has been , obeying what was planned for me . Now looking at my 2 girls and knowing God has alread-y worked it out for them to start a life that will bring such sweet memories .

What's in a Pierogie ?

Just think of it ! A Flour mixture made of egg , butter , and lot's more inside. And then a delicious potato and cheese that actually resides inside of the flour mixture that is eventually boiled together that becomes a harmonious family that is cooked in butter and onions ,the end result is amazing . I think it's better to make this at home rather than order this when your out . Anyway , it's depends on the day and how good your doing . The best part was Selah decided she wanted to help me , and so ofcourse I let her . It was a great time I spent w/ while my older daughter was homeschooling . The only problem was when Selah got the sugar out and threw it all over the table . She really got into it ! She's also a natural cook ! Selah was so persistent in rolling the dough and then finally when she started to lick the sugar off the table , I knew it was time to wrap it up .

A time out !

A time out to recollect all that God has done for me .

Just a moment or two to think of all the goodness He has in store for me .

I cannot even fathom all life threw at me and all His grace and goodness He has restored and

renewed in me.

A time out so I can stop from all the crying that the baby is doing.

A time out to remember what God has started . He will work and finish in and through me.

I'm walking with His goodness and His loving arms around me. Just to clear my head and to see

the King of Kings is in charge and then I surrender to His voice where I can choose to hold on to

everlasting mercy in my life.

A time out. May this spiritually refresh you , Love in Christ,

March 7th ,2011 / I found Life only in His grace & mercy

I found freedom and hope everlasting in my prayers.
I found peace and comfort in time when trials come upon me.
I found His grace and His mercy from my Lord divine.
I am keeping my hope and faith in His promises .


Surely goodness and mercy will truly follow me all the days of my life.
His grace abounds as I look upon Him for everything . When I look up to
His face , He not only tender takes care of me , He also answers all my
prayers . How is it possible that something so great , high , and more pure than
I can ever wish to be, loves me , forgives me , and wants to spend time w/ me.
Tender Loving Jesus is the only Home .There's no place I'd rather be.

Planning a birthday dinner for Tati , soon !

I want to try to do an Applebee's theme for my niece ,Tati's birthday ! I really like to cook for others and I am really excited to make mostly appetizers for dinner for fun . I know it's alot of work ,but I want to try to incorporate organizing my time better and having things clean for the night of her dinner . Remember , I know it's not like rocket science to become more organized in my life and purposing to applyit in many different arena's . I 'd love to hear from you woman on the many different experiences good or bad that you've been through in your life . Also , I'd like to make this blog helpful not just to myself but also to others that may be finding organizing a problem in their lives. I think to laugh is a great gift to share w/ others .

To be or not to become organized, that is the question?

Day 1

So I went on my notepad and I inserted the things that I need to get done today . I also typed down things that have been bothering me for a long time . Under each task I put a time to have the task finished . I'll let you know how it goes ! I really have a tight schelule for today. Just to give you an idea what's on my itinerary for today :


a) Clean church by myself early because were having dinner @ my mom's tonight.
b) make lunch.
c) Make dip to bring to my mom's ; can't wait to see Tati and Jayden tonight and Jackie and Scott.
d) Anais is still homeschooling .
e) The best part is my mom is cooking her Beef Stew and i have the night off !


We'll see if it helped.

Peace that passeth all understanding !

When I think of the pathway you will have to take all alone .
And when I see all His goodness I can't help but feel warm.
I can't see anything but the hope that I continue to believe
in. The Light in the darkness is too great not to notice.
The only True Light in the storm that lifts you up from
to look up to the heavens . It's higher and greater than anything that is below. What else is there than to know that you have a
best friend to strengthen you to get through every day. It's a day like no other once you realize your best friend is the one who created you.
It's the peace that passeth all understanding that helps you see you don't have a clue
w/ out Him.

What do I do about this ?

O.K. so here I go . As you know my mission is to really change , really get organized , right ! So here's the problem . Today I need to bake something that's really complicated , and I need to cook my Perfect Pot Roast Recipe because Alberto's dad is coming over for dinner tonight ! Here's my task to keep Selah from bothering me . Everytime I go in the kitchen to do something , A)i make a mistake or B) i burn something . For some reason Selah doesn't want me in the kitchen , she is against mommy and the kitchen. She gets very nervous and she can't be distracted very long no matter if Anais tries to distract her or if I put on Elmo or if I give her something to color w/. Nothing is working if you have any ideas please let me know . BTW Ladies , Agnes , Diane , Tati , and Michelle . Thankyou so much for the advice and the links please keep it coming ! I really want the Lord to answer this prayer of mine but I know I have to try harder .

I definitely need your help !

I'm going to turn 34 on April 4th , 2011 and I definitely need to change my organization skills . Why , you ask because I barely have any I know it's a shame . Right now my husband and I are on a tight budget . I'm not working , I'm homeschooling my 15 year old which takes up our whole morning and afternoon etc. I'm also raising my 18month old baby ! So , I have to be honest w/you right . I was a single mom for many years so I really had no time for learning how to get organized. Atleast , that's what I thought. When I was in my 20's I was working full time as a waitress and I attended Kingsborough College full time plus juggling teaching 2's and 3 year old's at my church . Also trying to raise my nieces Tati and Nique , who were young at the time , and trying to be there for my young daughter, Anais . I always tried to make sure I got the girls to church Wednesday nights , and I also tried to make sure we went on
Sunday's . O.k. , so I know what your thinking , How did I do all that and I'm still not organized ? Idk . I guess it was already organized for me . Anyway , any tips would be appreciated! Where to shop if your on a budget, to how to get organized at home when you don't have money to buy things to get organized w/ my closets , baby clothes (when you don't have the room ) I will continue to ask you more questions . Please let me know how I can help you. I do know about some things , too =) . My goal is to become more organized , maybe we can work this out together.
